JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a part-time Expo to join the Fancypants team. Expo acts as the central point of communication between the kitchen and front-of-house. This role calls for a quick-thinking professional who excels in a refined, high-pressure dining environment. Responsibilities include managing ticket flow, confirming modifications and allergens, organizing the pass, communicating clearly with chefs and servers, and upholding a seamless pace of service with accuracy and grace.
$7.25–$12/hour depending on experience + tipout
Total average compensation: $20–$25/hour

WHO YOU ARE:
Previous fine dining experience required
Prior experience as an Expo, Restaurant Manager, or Chef strongly preferred
Ability to stay calm, focused, and organized during high-volume service
Excellent verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
Weekend and evening availability required
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Coordinate entrée and course pacing during service
Manage and organize the pass to ensure consistent presentation
Confirm modifications, allergies, and special requests with exactness
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and timing
Support kitchen and service teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
