    Fielding's Culinary Group is now hiring a Expo/Barista at FIELDING'S LOCAL KITCHEN + BAR.

    We are searching for an experienced, passionate and outgoing individual.

    Fielding's local kitchen + bar is our casual, upscale neighborhood restaurant in Creekside Park Village Center. Our menu includes dry-aged steaks, handmade artisan pasta, house-cured charcuterie, open flame pizza, and re-invented desserts. "The Watering Hole" Bar offers 25 draft and bottle craft beer, hand-crafted cocktails, a 120-bottle selection of wine and 150 spirits. Lunch and Dinner daily, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Expeditor / Barista Job description

    The Expo position at Fielding’ s River Oaks is a key element in creating positive, memorable guest experience. The position primary focus are: 1) make and delivery coffee and non-alcohol beverages to the tables; 2) deliver food to tables using assigned seat numbers. Other tasks apply from time to time

    Essential Duties but not limited to:

    Ø Maintain a positive attitude in high stress situations

    Ø Make coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages to

    standard and expectation

    Ø Delver food and beverages to the guest table using

    the Pivot Point System

    Ø Handle food and beverage in accordance with

    State and County food handler regulations

    Ø Present a professional, positive, well kempt, well

    groomed appearance to standard

    Ø Work with the kitchen and service team to get

    the right food to the right guest.

    Competencies & Qualifications:

    Ø To make all coffees and beverages using equipment to stated recipes using stated procedures

    Ø Be able to handle hot plates safely

    Ø Have a true happy disposition

    Ø Bi-lingual a plus

    Ø Like highly fluid situations

    Ø Be able to think on your feet quickly

    Ø Demonstrate interest and share knowledge of food

    Ø Able to lift and carry 50 pounds

    Ø Able to follow directions

    Ø Develop rapport with food expert to understand the full range of Fielding’s products and services

    Ø Consistently search ways to improve and promote a high level of guest service

    Ø Review and discuss guest and Partner feedback

    Ø Treat guests and Partners with respect

    Ø Provide a risk free and safe working environment and experience

    Ø Apply accurate logic and common sense in decisions making or solving problems

    Ø Seek expertise help and resources to achieve goals and objectives

    Ø Stay focused and detailed oriented while on duty and work through distractions

    Ø Able to identify, prioritize activities and modify work routines to eliminate wasted efforts

    Ø Follow guidelines and rules of Fielding’s culinary group

    Ø Speak clearly and logically to be understood and get the point across when communicating

    Ø Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual
