    Job Description

    Export Control Classification

    • Perform Export Control Classification for hardware, software and technology
    • Handle US re-export compliance tasks
    • Execute further tasks e.g., De Minimis calculation, Exporter's License Administration
    • Ensure data is up-to-date according to changes in related legislation
    • Escalate requests as needed

    Tariff Code Classification

    • Tariff classification for Bosch materials, all divisions
    • Process requests and emails related to tariff classification, including reference creation and explanation sheets
    • Support tariff reviews and request missing technical documents via TDC
    • Support in conducting quality checks and verify tariff codes for accuracy and compliance
    • Ensure that data is up-to-date according to changes in related legislation
    • Escalate requests as needed

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, International Trade or Business related with 3+ years export classification or related experience OR Associate’s degree with 5+ years export classification or related experience
    • Experience with technical products (e.g. automotive, HVAC, software) and ability to understand function of its various parts
    • Ability to read and analyze technical documents of Bosch's product portfolio
    • Ability to use technical understanding of parts to determine appropriate classification at both international and national levels
    • Self-learning and staying up-to-date on Tariff Codes and Export Control
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as Governance and R&D (e.g.) to ensure accurate TC & EC classification
    • Ability to explain and persuade others of the classification results in a professional manner

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 3+ years export classifications experience
    • Experience with SAP and process automation
    • Experience working with German companies
