Calling all Export Tank Coordinators!
A leading global logistics provider is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our specialized Tank Department in Houston, TX. The Export Tank Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of logistics and documentation tasks in support of our international shipping operations. This includes managing the full export cycle, from coordinating cargo space to ensuring all regulatory requirements are met accurately. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining excellent service standards for all internal and external partners to ensure smooth global shipment execution
Reviewing and processing various export documents to ensure all shipping instructions are handled accurately and efficiently
Arranging and confirming cargo space with carriers while monitoring performance to meet all operational timelines
Advising customers regarding shipment status and ensuring all billing and cost items are handled promptly and fairly
Preparing and processing a full suite of export documentation, including Bills of Lading, Invoices, and necessary international certificates
Handling regulatory submissions and notifications to ensure compliance with all government and export standards
Requirements:
Must have 3-5 years of experience in ocean exports, specifically within a freight forwarding or tank operator environment
Must have a strong knowledge of export regulations and the ability to meet strict daily deadlines
Must have excellent communication and computer skills to ensure data is properly relayed between all parties
Must be a team player who can work independently, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced industrial office setting
