HIGH-LEVEL OVERVIEW The Export Import Compliance Specialist is responsible for processing import and export shipments ensuring compliance with CBP, ITAR, and EAR regulations.

This is an in-office position based near Mountain Top, PA.

EXPECTATIONS

• Comply with company wide Export Compliance Manual and Code of Conduct
• Review inbound & outbound shipments for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Determine product ECCN/HTS classifications and identify export license requirements
• Support preparation and submission of export license applications
• Maintain trade records for import and export transactions under ITAR, EAR, and CBP requirements
• Collaborate with senior trade team to resolve complex trade compliance issues
• Conduct internal verifications of trade compliance transactional records
• Coordinate with logistics, legal, and finance to ensure smooth and compliant supply chain
• Advise management on trade compliance aspects and risks of proposed business decisions
• Support preparation reports and audit related to trade activities
• Manage duty drawback and remediation programs

ESSENTIALS

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience in Trade Compliance
• In depth understanding of import and export regulations, ITAR, EAR and CBP
• Experience managing export licenses and reviewing export documentation for accuracy
• Familiarity with CBP regulations and the ACE system for import operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
