    PAY: COMMISSION-BASED - $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 PER YEAR

    FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Exposure It Real Estate Media is Pittsburgh's number one choice for Real Estate Photography, providing services to hundreds of realtors each month. We are consistently growing in the Pittsburgh Market and looking for a talented, tech-savvy photographer with a keen eye for detail, entrepreneurial spirit, and a leadership mindset.

    Experience in photography/aerial photography is a requirement for this position. Preference will be given to photographers who have a greater amount of professional experience shooting real estate and aerial photography.

    As a photographer with Exposure It, you will be responsible for shooting both residential and commercial real estate at the provided clients' locations. Editing and delivery are handled by our team of editors. No retouching or image processing is required for this position. You will not be required to find your own clients/leads, although this is a commission-based/paid-per-job position and more clients obtained on your own will lead to greater overall revenue.

    THE EQUIPMENT:

    We do not provide our 1099 photographers with the basic equipment needed for this position. We expect anyone applying for this position to have their own equipment and their part 107 drone license or be willing to obtain their own equipment and part 107 licensing prior to shooting with Exposure It.

    OUR HIRING PROCESS:

    Please keep in mind that this is a highly competitive and desired position and only a select few candidates will actually be offered the position and only one or two candidates will successfully make it through our training and probationary period. You will potentially be competing against 5-10 other candidates for this position.

    1. Fill out our online application, submit a resume & cover letter, provide three contacts of reference and provide a full equipment list.

    2. Await acceptance or denial of initial interview 

      1. (48 HOUR RESPONSE TIME)
    3. If accepted, complete initial interview via Zoom 

      1. (30 MINUTES)
    4. Await acceptance or denial of second round interview 

      1. (24 HOUR RESPONSE TIME)
    5. Complete second round interview in person at our Downtown office location 

      1. (45 - 60 MINUTES)
    6. Await acceptance or denial of Preliminary Job Offer

    7. Submit/Agree to a full background check 

      1. ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A COMPLETELY CLEAN RECORD TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

    9. Probationary job position will be offered or denied upon clean criminal record, discussion with references, and the signing of a limited Non-Compete Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement, and Non-Solicitation Agreement.

    10. Onboarding

      1. ENROLLMENT INTO EXPOSURE IT EDUCATION
    11. Begin Online Training Course and complete the course with other candidates on a scheduled Saturday and Sunday at our downtown location.

      1. TWO 8 HOUR DAYS (TOTAL OF 16 HOURS)
    12. One week from the completion of your training you will complete the course Final Exam in person at our downtown office location and this exam will be proctored. (Must pass with a score of 75% or greater)

      1. YOU WILL HAVE ONLY ONE CHANCE TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS THE EXAM
    13. Upon course completion and passing of course Final Exam, the photographers 60 DAY PROBATIONARY PERIOD will begin and the probationary photographer will be added to the schedule to start accepting shoots.

      1. THE FIRST WEEK OF THE PHOTOGRAPHERS PROBATIONARY PERIOD WILL BE SPENT RIDING ALONG TO PHOTOSHOOTS WITH ONE OF THE OWNERS OF THE COMPANY.
      2. THE FIRST WEEK OF YOUR PROBATIONARY PERIOD WILL BE UNPAID, BUT IF YOU SUCCESSFULLY MAKE IT THROUGH THE 60 DAY PROBATIONARY PERIOD YOU WILL BE REIMBURSED FOR YOUR FIRST WEEK'S PAY.
    14. Begin Part 107 Drone Pilot Training (Completion required within 45 days of probationary period)

      1. THE PART 107 TRAINING COURSE WILL BE PAID FOR BY EXPOSURE IT BUT THE STATE EXAM MUST BE PAID FOR BY THE PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEE.
      2. IF THE STATE TEST IS SUCCESSFULLY PASSED, EXPOSURE IT WILL REIMBURSE THE EXPENSES FOR THE FINAL EXAM.
      3. YOU WILL HAVE 2 CHANCES TO PASS THE EXAM AND WILL NOT BE RELEASED FROM YOUR PROBATIONARY PERIOD UNTIL YOU'VE SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE PART 107 EXAM.
    15. After obtaining your Part 107 drone license and completing your 60 day probationary period, you will officially be promoted to a Photographer II, along with a significant increase in your commission-paid percentage.

     

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2-4 years of work experience or higher education
    • G.E.D or higher education
    • Basic photography knowledge and/or experience
    • Own or be willing to purchase necessary photography equipment for the entry level position
    • Reliable & Insured Transportation (You will be traveling from 1-5 appointments in your area per day)
    • Strong Customer Service skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Own a reliable laptop or desktop computer and high speed internet
    • Basic knowledge of Dropbox, Microsoft Word, and Gmail
    • Own a smartphone that is compatible with our company app
    • Part 107 certification (not required but preferred)
    • Clear Criminal Background
    • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
    • Available to work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
