SALES SUPPORT / COLD CALLING IN TORRANCE, CA

South Bay based logistics company has an exciting opening for a Sales Support / Cold Calling! This is a great opportunity for someone who is open to becoming an outside sales rep.

The general responsibility of the job is to cold call by phone and update/enter new information into customer database.

This is a contract to hire position with a target hourly pay of $25.00/hour. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Benefits upon being hired.

Essential Duties:

·        Cold calling by phone

·        Expectations will be 40 calls between three reps

·        Verify if company could be a potential customer

·        Communicate with sales rep once company is verified to be a potential costumer

·        Use Salesforce to enter cold calls and new target accounts

·        Assist with running credit and establish new rates for customers

·        Set up new customers into company portal

·        Provide update to customers on corporate initiatives

·        Facilitate customer gifts when necessary (during holidays, etc.,)

Requirements:

·        Must have experience with cold calling and/or inside sales

·        Experience with Salesforce is preferred, but not required

·        Must be comfortable with being on the phone and outbound calling

·        Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
