Our client is Norristown is looking for a Welding Helper to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in the welding industry.

Duties:

Assist in the assembly and dismantling of metal structures

Assist in the inspection and maintenance of welding equipment

Assist is the setup and preparation of welding equipment

Clean and maintain in the work are before or after the work

Clean, grind, and prepare materials for welding

Collaborate with other welder helpers

Communicate effectively with the welder and other team members

Follow safety procedures and guidelines for welding operations

Learn and develop welding skills and knowledge

Operate hand and power tools

Perform basic welding tasks

Supply the welder with the necessary materials

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a welder helper or in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding processes

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

Familiarity with soldering techniques is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
