JOB SCOPE
As a Sales Trainee, you will work in various roles within an Express Employment Professionals office preparing to become a future leader of Express Employment Professionals in the recruiting and staffing industry. In this program you will participate in staffing classroom, online and on the job training with an assigned mentor recruiting and staffing franchise office. This program will focus on business-to-business sales both outside/inside sales, staffing & recruiting, leadership management. After successful completion you will be equipped to lead, manage, and grow business with any organization.
SALES
Prospecting new staffing and recruiting business leads, making face to face B2B qualifying business opportunities, and contacting key decision makers. Ability to make a combination of 100 staffing and recruiting sales calls weekly, including phone and in-person B2B visits, which include 60 face to face decision maker calls. This will require consultative selling techniques and effective communication skills, both questioning and listening techniques. As well as the discipline to be persistent while following a daily and weekly plan and demonstrating the desire and drive to become a top performing sales professional in the B2B staffing and recruiting field.
RECRUITING
Develop skills to identify quality job seekers and move them through our recruiting and staffing process. Learn how to create a positive experience for job seekers that builds a brand around staffing associates for life. Build knowledge around recruiting platforms to find job seekers.
OPERATIONS
Develop an understanding of efficient ways to process payroll, manage workers compensation claims and maintain accounts receivable in the staffing business. Become familiar with preferred vendors, and systems to keep your business at the top of the staffing industry. Thorough knowledge of temporary, evaluation to hire, and direct hire placement policies and employment-related laws.
LEADERSHIP
People development is critical to be successful as an Express leader in the staffing industry. You will learn how to hire, train, and lead a franchise office. You will develop skills on holding the team accountable, understand the connection between lead and lag indicators and the importance of building a culture around sales, recruiting and service within the staffing industry.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· Sales Experience, with quantifiable results to prove success, preferably in the staffing and recruiting industry
· Entrepreneurial mind set with the desire to grow a business within staffing industry
· Ability to develop/follow a sales plan and meet/exceed quotas/metrics set to within Express Fast Track Program
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Self-motivated and ability to provide exceptional customer service
· Must have the ability to motivate, train, and coach others
· Ability to use the automated systems to prepare sales plan and identify prospective clients
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
· Must maintain a valid state driver’s license. Constant travel and exposure to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions
· Must be able to work effectively under stress, meet deadlines, and work with clients to handle any unforeseen issues
