Express Employment Professionals West Hills, CA office has an opening for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FOR THEIR OFFICE.
This is a full-time opportunity with an exciting career in Sales and Client Development within the staffing industry. The Business Development Manager for an Express Employment Professionals office is responsible for selling our services to our client companies. This is done by identifying potential business opportunities in the local community and contacting key decision makers, through sales calls by phone and in-person. Successful Business Development Managers are comfortable contacting and engaging with businesspeople at all levels, selling intangible, critical business services. This requires the ability to use consultative sales techniques (communication skills, questioning, and listening techniques) and the discipline of being persistent while following daily and weekly plans, with the desire to become a top performing sales professional.
The West Hills’ office franchise territory is the West San Fernando Valley. This position involves both outside and inside sales within our franchise territory.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER’S MAIN JOB DUTIES FOCUS ARE:
• Make a combination of 100+ sales calls per week, including phone and in-person contacts, and closing two new clients per week. • Effectively meet with decision makers to assess needs and secure new accounts. • Document all sales calls and contacts in our proprietary database. • Prepare and execute a daily sales plan. • Introduce and sell Express Employment through cold, planned, appointment, and phone calls. • Select the right companies to call on through disciplined, focused selling. • Work directly with Staffing Consultant(s) for new order communication and follow up regarding placement of candidates • The Business Development Manager will maintain strong relations with Inside Sales staff to ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely manner.
The Business Development Manager offers a competitive base salary of $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year, plus commission based upon sales generated.
The normal office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some evening and weekend work may required for this position.
