    Job Description

    The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintaining accounting records, and providing support for the Finance Department with general accounting and routine clerical functions.

    DUTIES:

    • Process daily accounts payable and daily collections of receivable accounts
    • Compile and sort documents and perform computation according to company procedures
    • Match invoices to purchase order. Research/track and resolve documentation discrepancies
    • Provide updates for the direct manager on a regular basis
    • Uphold an organized filing system and complete required report summaries by the set deadlines
    • Perform other miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High standards for accuracy, attention to detail, and aptitude for numbers
    • Time and project management skills, organizational skills, and ethical conduct
    • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to deliver quality output, individually and with a team
    • Ability to work with adding machines, calculators, and other office supplies such as copiers and scanners
