We are looking for a 2nd Shift Data Entry Clerk for a Warehouse in Dallas, TX 75227. To type information into their database from paper documents. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and an accurate typist with a keen eye for detail

The hours are from Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-10:30 pm with occasional weekends

Pay is: $15.50 plus $.50 Shift Differential

The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.

Responsibilities

• Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, or data recorders.

• Type in data provided directly from customer/agency.

• Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes

• Verify data by comparing it to source documents

• Update existing data

• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

• Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not

Requirements

• Proven experience as data entry clerk

• Great attention to detail

• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)

• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware.

• Basic understanding of databases

• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills

• Good and effective communicator

• Must have a good attendance record

• Must be able to multitask

• Must be professional

• High school degree or equivalent

• Bilingual Spanish speakers is strongly preferred (Not Required)
