We are a Freight Forwarding Logistics company looking for a full time Accountant to join our Team!!!

Position: Accountant/Bookkeeper (Permanent position with benefits).

Location: Jamaica, NY

Shifts: M-F/ 9AM – 5PM (40hrs/week)

Compensation: $25 - $35/hr.

Job Description:

· Review balance sheet reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.

· Act as liaison with Corporate to review monthly reporting and accounting.

· Verify and approve all journal entries.

· Verify timely and accurate invoices preparation.

· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

· Verify Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

· Assist with budgeting reports and anticipating revenues.

Qualifications:

· Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

· 3+ experience in Accounts Receivable/Payable in Freight Forwarding Logistics industry.

· Strong written and verbal communication.

· Must be willing to work on site.

· Strong data skills.

· Strong MS Office Suite, Excel, and Word skills.

· Strong work ethic.

· Must be eligible to work in the US.
