  • Responsibilities

    Expression Networks is looking for a Web Developer in San Antonio, TX. As a Web Developer, you will support the design and development of web-based applications supporting Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO). You will contribute to all aspects of the Agile software development lifecycle to deliver new features and enhancements according to the product roadmap via iterative sprints, and you will support requirements analyses, design, development, test, and deployment activities.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • TS/SCI security clearance
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEM discipline
    • 10 years of experience with website design, maintenance, and operations, User Interface (UI) or User Experience (UX) design and development
    • Knowledge of front-end development web programming languages such as eXtensible Markup Language (XML), C++, C#, Ajax, Wordpress, Dreaweaver, Pearl, HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript
    • Familiarity with database technologies such as PHP and My SQL
    • Experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies
    • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues with Internet Explorer (IE), Edge, and Chrome
    • One or more of the following certifications: CIW Web Design Specialist or equivalent, Microsoft Technology Associate - HTML5 App Development Fundamentals.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Master's degree in IT, data science, information science, computer information services, or STEM related field.
    • Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as XML, C++, C#, Ajax, Wordpress, Dreamweaver, Pearl, HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript
    • Experience with content management systems
    • Experience with search engine optimization principles
    • Experience with database technologies such as PHP and My SQL
    • Experience with cross-browser compatibility issues with IE, Edge, and Chrome
    • At least two certifications in: CIW Web Design Specialist, Microsoft Technology Associate - HTML5 App Development Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer - Web Applications, and W3 HTML5 Developer Certificate
