Job Description – Ensure Alignment to Selected Title

Gathers, and documents business requirements to support the design and development of technology and/or process solutions. Leverages relevant processes, technology, and subject matter experts to propose appropriate solution options. Clearly communicates issue resolution. Performs application maintenance and system configuration in support of solution delivery initiatives. 5-7 years.

Story Behind the Need – Business Group & Key Projects

Team: Planning Technology team, working on implementing o9 solutions (replenishment planning) and retiring the old tool. 3 folks on the project from her team right now and hundreds working on this initiative

Looking for someone to be part of the replenishment planning project that is replacing current JDA system (ASR) with a cloud-based platform and planning technology to enable store-level forecasting, automated ordering for the stores and use of Advanced Analytics derived insights.

Involved it the integrations team and work with multiple systems to design, document help architect the integration from multiple systems to o9 and outbound from o9 to our IBMI retail engineering system.

Typical Day:

· Create complex prototypes, designs and develop and deploy enhanced processes and technology solutions to support Starbucks’ operational requirements and strategic initiatives.

· Document and implement complex IT applications by coordinating activities with assigned project team.

· Translate business into functional requirements.

· Work with tech team to translate functional requirements into tech requirements

· Utilize knowledge of planning systems and how they would interact with VCP, logility application in defining the overall solution(s).

· Resolve integrated system issues, iterative solution design, and prototyping efforts.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications: Worked on integrations and planning

MUST HAVE:

· Planning systems knowledge

· Excellent communication skills.

· senior level 7+ years of IT experience

· Big Data experience

· General Cloud experience

· Experience with implementing and architecting integrations

Nice To Have:

· Knowledge of Azure / Hadoop

· Knowledge of Microservice architecture

· JIRA/ confluence
