    We are seeking a part-time Human Resources Generalist to help grow the Human Capital department by supporting employee engagement initiatives and compliance management in a dynamic organization where anything is possible, and much is still being built. The ideal candidate will help to bring order from chaos, and will help build the foundation for engagement, organizational stability and employee growth/retention. We are building from the ground up and implementing scalable HR procedures is integral to company’s growth and success.


    What You'll Do:

    ? Providing HR support for all employees. Advise managers on performance management, employee relations, company policies, and other HR-related topics in partnership with Human Capital department and Executive Leadership Team.

    ? Participating in the development, business delivery, and evaluation of people programs: rewards cycles, surveys, performance reviews, etc.

    ? Supporting our new hire onboarding process - lead Orientation, work with managers on first day processes, answer questions and help direct new employees on where to find answers

    ? Owning the employee change process, including processing internal transfers, employee title/compensation changes, departures and conducting exit interviews

    ? Supporting the bi-weekly payroll process to ensure new hire, exits and pay changes are processed

    ? Providing payroll support for the organization.

    ? Running ad-hoc and regular reporting (headcount, terminations, new hires, promotions, etc.)

    ? Supporting employees through the Leave Of Absence process by determining eligibility, maintaining regular communication, retrieving appropriate documentation, and facilitating the Return to Work process.

    ? Assisting in policy implementation and rollout of new processes to ensure as positive an experience as possible for employees and managers

    ? Utilizing data (including survey data, exit data, market data etc.) to provide Human Capital Department and the Executive Leadership Team with recommendations for improvement

    ? Helping to maintain and grow the presence and effectiveness of our Human Capital team.

     

    Requirements / Qualifications:

     

    ? 2+ years professional (or comparable) Human Resources experience

    ? Functional HR expertise including knowledge of HR best practices and how to keep an organization compliant.

    ? Ability to work independently – you can operate with a high level of autonomy to balance and prioritize multiple competing responsibilities.

    ? Excellent relationship-building skills with all levels of the organization with an emphasis on credibility.

    ? Strong attention to detail.

    ? Strong follow-through, judgement and “make it happen” demeanor.

    ? Strong analytical skills, including ability to manage and analyze data using Excel and Google Sheets

    ? The ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company information and be able to serve as a trusted resource

    ? Ability to deal with ambiguity, effectively cope with change, shift gears comfortably, decide and act without having the total picture, and handle risk and uncertainty

    Experience That Goes the Extra Mile:

    ? Experience with HRIS Database and ATS
