    The Role

    One of our clients is looking for a Development Analyst to help us expand our success in Multi-Family Housing, specifically within the Active Adult space (55+). You’ll assist in the development process including data analysis, financial modeling, database creation and management, and delivering OM, IC, and debt packages. You will be working closely with the entire Active Adult team of our client. You’ll be reporting to the Director of Development and will have exposure to the vertically integrated team within our client. This role is based in Austin, TX 78746.

    What You’ll Do…

    • Underwriting and modeling
    • Compiling and managing data sets for acquisitions and development
    • Special projects- surveying competition, compiling various psychographic and demographic data to inform development decisions
    • Prepare internal IC package, partner OM’s, and debt packages
    • Assist in presentations to government bodies, equity partners and other stakeholders
    • Gain exposure to the entire development process

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in either Business, Finance, Civil Engineering, Law or Planning required
    • Proficiency in Excel, including building models, and data analysis
    • Excited about impacting lives and being part of building beautiful communities
    • Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial individual with the drive to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively with a team
    • Familiarity with principles of real estate finance and real estate financial models
    • Proficient skill to analyze data and make recommendations to a diverse audience, both internally and externally
    • Aptitude to use critical thinking to solve complex problems and address them directly and timely
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicate professionally with external partners, including planning commissions/other government bodies, as well as internal teams of executives and colleagues
    • Must have strong project management skills, including the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
