About the Role:

Join BMS Pediatric Therapy Group, P.C. as an Extended School Year Speech Language Pathologist in Chicago, IL, where you'll make a meaningful impact on children's communication skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a dedicated team, enhancing the lives of students during the summer months. We are seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The position runs from June 2 to July 15, 2025, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Services will be provided in a school district located near Olympia Fields, IL.

As part of our supportive and collaborative team, you will provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students with diverse communication needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact during the summer in a welcoming, neurodiversity-affirming environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech therapy services in a school setting.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.

Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to student IEPs.

Stay updated on best practices and current research in speech-language pathology.

Foster a positive and encouraging environment for students to thrive.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current Illinois state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and families.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals.
