Extension is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Racine, WI . Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities * Onboard new suppliers following companies policies/verifications needed * Enter orders and track delivery statuses via numerous payment methods: Credit card, company transfers, standard payments, etc. * Negotiate price and terms of agreements with suppliers when needed * Resolve any shipping issues/order errors * Resolve invoice issues/late payments with suppliers and rely information to AP department * Maintain/update list of vendors and contacts * Create and coordinator material tracking schedules to ensure projects stay on the scheduled timeline * Track/record incoming materials in company SAP to ensure all teams are kept up to date * Manage inventory, certifications, verifications, and shipping details for all vendors and update as needed in SAP system * Other duties as assigned Desired Skills & Qualifications * Associates Degree * 3+ yrs purchasing experience * Manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, etc industry experience (Not interested in Medical backgrounds) * Software experience - Need to have: Excel, Pivot Tables, vLookups, SAP (Use: Jaggaer) Salary Information * Pay or salary range --$60k/yr We're looking forward to connecting with you and are excited to help you make your next career move!
