Role Overview
As an External Noise & Masses Homologation Specialist, you will serve as our go-to expert on regulatory requirements related to pass-by and stationary noise systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our vehicles meet global compliance standards.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading regulatory certification activities for pass-by and stationary noise systems
Evaluating system designs and developing certification plans
Collaborating with engineering teams during system development
Supporting regulatory discussions with foreign governments to advocate for acceptance of corporate and supplier compliance documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (Other engineering disciplines with relevant experience may also be considered)
Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience
Strong knowledge of chassis and powertrain systems, with hands-on release experience
In-depth understanding of global regulations for:
Masses and Dimensions
Pass-by Noise
Stationary Noise
Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Legal, Testing Labs, and more)
Experience managing compliance testing to meet critical project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Familiarity with structured problem-solving and decision-making frameworks (e.g., Kepner-Tregoe)
Outstanding behavioral traits: integrity, decisiveness, simplicity in execution, and a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience across multiple technical disciplines
Expertise in worldwide Noise and Masses regulations
