Extrusion Manager - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 110k/year - Conway, SC

• Our client is a plastics manufacturer specializing in blown film extrusion.
  
• The team is seeking an Extrusion Manager who will have complete oversight of department operations. This person will be responsible for all aspects of high-production volume including: quality, production management, safety, training, technical solutions, and materials management.

Responsibilities:

• Drive operation excellence while supporting the team with new growth initiatives
  
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance program
  
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on machines
  
• Improve and develop procedures
  
• Track key metrics and ensuring team is meeting department goals
  
• Oversee all training, staffing, and mentoring of hourly employees

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma
  
• 5+ years' working in blown film extrusion manufacturing setting
  
• Robust technical background in blown film extrusion – familiarity with heat profiles, die gaps, etc
  
• Background working in fast paced work environment overseeing numerous changeovers per shift
  
• Hands on troubleshooting abilities
  
• Mechanical aptitude
  
• Must be a working, hands-on manager ability to wear multiple hats
  
• Ability to work on call and afterhours as needed

Compensation:

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 110k/year along with a comprehensive benefits package. The team will also help with relocation assistance to get to the greater Conway, SC area.
