    The Opportunity:

    eyebobs is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to partner closely with the store’s General Manager in driving sales and operations through exceptional customer service. The ASM will be responsible for cultivating a highly-engaged team, and driving performance to deliver against the store’s monthly sales goals.

    We’re looking for someone who wants to step up to the plate and partner with the GM. That means not only do you assist with all things operational but you’re right there on the floor selling frames with everyone else on the team, demonstrating exemplary customer service and acting as a role model for performance standards.

    Sales & Operations:

    Reinforce compliance with all retail policies and procedures in all areas of the store and employee performance and partner with GM on accountability for them

    Support the GM in the execution of short- and long-term business plans that drive KPI’s and maximize sales

    Drive sales to meet or exceed monthly sales plans and assist the GM to meet all store KIPI’s and financial goals

    Assist the GM to plan, delegate, execute, and follow up on retail assignments and store activities to ensure all expectations and goals are met

    Reinforce a proactive selling culture that focuses on building a confident team in order to create exceptional customer experience and build a loyal customer following

    Execute and drive store traffic and conversion for the store by helping with events, promotions and delivering the same customer service when there is one customers in the store or 20 customers

    Ensure all communications are filtered to the team as directed by the Director of Retail or the GM

    Support the store staffing model and manage the employee schedule when required to meet the demands of the operating hours and optimize the schedule to drive conversion

    Execute on all store projects and compliance including inventory maintenance, product markdowns and store merchandising

    Team Management & Talent:

    Lead and coach through eyebobs core values and uphold the eyebobs customer experience by incorporating store principles into the daily business and employee development

    Act as manager on duty when GM is out of the store and communicate clear expectations and hold the employees accountable for achieving all brand, performance and sales standards

    Consistently model exemplary behavior and customer service that motivates and inspires the team to deliver the eyebobs customer experience

    Recognize and provide in-the-moment coaching to employees to retain and develop high-performing teams

    Proactively works with the GM to network and recruit candidates to support the store’s ongoing staffing needs

    Drive engagement by rewarding employees for their outstanding customer service and for their ability to drive sales

    Builds confidence and creates an optimistic, rewarding and collaborative work environment in which employees are encouraged to grow and rewarded for small wins

    Experience and Qualifications:

    Prior retail experience required, 3-4 years preferred

    Demonstrated ability to achieve individual sales goals and store performance metrics

    Passion for fashion and style and delivering an exceptional customer experience

    Exceptional interpersonal, communication and people management skills; comfort with acting as manager in charge when required

    Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to build long-term customer relationships

    Ability to be adaptable, flexible, fast-paced and a maintain high level of multitasking

    Ability to resolve complex problems, multitask and prioritize time and projects effectively

    Other Details:

    Bonus opportunities for sales and NPS scores (mutually exclusive, monthly and quarterly bonus opportunities)

    This is a full-time position and hours of work may be Monday-Sunday during standard mall hours, varying depending on staff schedule and holidays

    The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending all day

    Under the direction of the General Manager, you will be required to complete additional projects as required
