Busy Queens ophthalmology practice is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician or Ophthalmic Assistant . This is a full-time position. The successful candidate should be prepared to work up to 40 hours per week. Applicants must be able to work some evenings and/or some weekends. Candidate must have experience as an ophthalmic technician. Top salary for top candidates.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

Medical Scribing

Taking patient history

Autorefraction

Lensometry

Visual acuity

Intraocular pressure

Automated visual fields

Slit lamp photography

Pachymetry

Fundus Photography

Retinal imaging (OCT)

Biometry

Essential Skills And Experience: The ideal candidate will have proficient writing and communication skills, ability to multi-task, and a “Can-Do” attitude. Familiarity with EyeMD EMR is a plus; . Fluency in Spanish or Russian is helpful. Salary is commensurate with experience
