JOB SUMMARY:

The Dishwasher cleans and sanitizes all dishes and silverware used by guests, all kitchen equipment and banquet areas.

JOB DUTIES:

1. To maintain dish equipment and dish area in accordance with company policy.

2. To ensure all plates, silverware, glasses, pots and pans are thoroughly washed and out in their proper place.

3. Keep kitchen free of garbage and spills as they occur.

4. Comply with all state and local sanitation polices.

5. To help out the cooks as instructed.

6. To know where all soaps and chemicals are stored, and to be knowledgeable of what all chemicals are specifically used for.

7. Demonstrate awareness of volume sanitation responsibility.

8. To know opening and closing responsibilities.

9. Must attend all meetings and/ or training as directed by management.

10. To clear and re-set tables according to company standards.

11. To assist servers in achieving proper table maintenance during the guests meal.

12. To maintain a proper par-stock level of supplies in all server stations during the shifts.

13. To perform other duties as assigned.

AUTHORITY AND SUPERVISORY CAPACITY

Possesses authority needed to accomplish 1 – 13 above.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or GED required.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

1. Must be able to lift a maximum of 90 lbs.

2. Must be able to withstand a smoky environment for extended periods of time, with direct exposure to secondhand smoke.
