Join our hospitality team and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen operation. The Hotel Steward plays an important role in supporting the Food & Beverage department by ensuring all kitchen equipment, dishware, and work areas meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, stewarding, and back-of-house areas
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and service areas
- Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies
- Assist with banquet setup and breakdown when needed
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen and restaurant teams during busy service periods
- Keep floors clean and free of hazards
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as directed
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Reliable, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
