Job Description

We are looking for BUYERS WITH SOLID EXPERIENCE WITH COMPUTERS, LAPTOPS AND NOTEBOOKS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for buying computers, laptops and notebooks for resale to consumers at the wholesale or retail level, analyzing past buying trends, sales records, price and quality of merchandise to determine value and yield. The Buyer will select, order and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contact vendors to inquire about availability and negotiate pricing
• Prepare, send, and follow up on purchase orders and bid requests to vendors
• Follow up on shipment delivery schedules with vendors and shipping carriers
• Analyze price proposals, sales reports, inventory reports and market research to determine current market value and performance of products purchased
• Maintain inventory levels and perform inventory analysis on select product lines
• Request for return authorizations from vendors for products that need to be returned and follow up to receive proper credits

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Technical capacity, communication proficiency and customer/client focus.
• Buyer experience with computers is a MUST!
• Experience with Notebooks and Laptops is a plus!
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.
