JOB SUMMARY

The Treasury Relationship Manager position is responsible for development and retention of treasury management solutions business for an assigned territory or customer base. The individual will develop partnerships with the Commercial Relationship Managers to jointly generate and grow profitable business. In addition, they are responsible for self-sourcing new deposit relationships. They are responsible for multiple lines of business or industry segments with more complex treasury management needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to thrive in a team-selling partnerships, working closely with technical specialists and Commercial Relationship Managers

• Self-source deposit opportunities.

• Understand the client’s/prospects business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation

• Understand the competition’s capabilities and gaps to better position our solutions

• Promote sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market and industry developments

• Develop strategic sales plan in coordination with Commercial Relationship managers and other colleagues as appropriate

• Manage sales process to include proposal and implementation

• Other duties as assigned

  EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 5+ years of experience in the business development and sales of treasury management products

• A BS/BA degree

• An active Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation, preferred

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Microsoft Suite

• Detail-oriented

• Organized projects, prioritize workflow and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.

• Above average written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on correct English grammar.

• Demonstrate ability to exercise independent judgement, initiative and tact in dealing with management, colleagues, and he general public.

• Present a professional, business-like manner and appearance.
