    Job Description

    We are seeking a full time, full charge Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities and help identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNTING.

    ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

    • Enter all invoices generated post payments to QuickBooks.
    • Maintain & update sales tax information, reports & payments to S.B.O.E.
    • Quarterly sales tax returns.

    ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

    • Post all payable's invoices to QuickBooks.
    • Generate weekly check runs, then match with vendor's invoices.

    ACCOUNTING

    • Maintain cash flow, payable and receivables spreadsheets & update.
    • Key indicators report
    • Maintain check register & keep track of daily balances.
    • Monthly commissions report for sales activity.
    • Generate monthly, quarterly & annual balance sheet, income statements in QuickBooks.
    • Track fixed assets, and maintain a spread sheet for depreciation.
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

    PAYROLL HUMAN RESOURCES

    • Payroll, oversee and coordinate all financial activities utilizing payroll service (Prime Pay)
    • Update 401 k spreadsheet weekly and transmit payments to AUL using C.C.M. website.

    HUMAN RESOURCES

    • Maintain employees files.
    • Health, dental & life insurance.
    • WC payroll and transmit the figures to WC Carrier, monthly through their web Portal.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields
    • Manufacturing accounting experience & job costing
    • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Extensive experience in Excel & Quick Books
    • Cash flow management.
    • Deadline and detail-oriented.
    • BS Accounting or equivalent in experience preferred.
