Job Description
We are seeking a full time, full charge Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities and help identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNTING.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
- Enter all invoices generated post payments to QuickBooks.
- Maintain & update sales tax information, reports & payments to S.B.O.E.
- Quarterly sales tax returns.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
- Post all payable's invoices to QuickBooks.
- Generate weekly check runs, then match with vendor's invoices.
ACCOUNTING
- Maintain cash flow, payable and receivables spreadsheets & update.
- Key indicators report
- Maintain check register & keep track of daily balances.
- Monthly commissions report for sales activity.
- Generate monthly, quarterly & annual balance sheet, income statements in QuickBooks.
- Track fixed assets, and maintain a spread sheet for depreciation.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
PAYROLL HUMAN RESOURCES
- Payroll, oversee and coordinate all financial activities utilizing payroll service (Prime Pay)
- Update 401 k spreadsheet weekly and transmit payments to AUL using C.C.M. website.
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Maintain employees files.
- Health, dental & life insurance.
- WC payroll and transmit the figures to WC Carrier, monthly through their web Portal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields
- Manufacturing accounting experience & job costing
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience in Excel & Quick Books
- Cash flow management.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- BS Accounting or equivalent in experience preferred.
