As a Maintenance Technician your responsibilities include maintenance and continual improvement of in-house equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment used in a machine shop setting. The position requires performing work that involves hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, general mechanics as well as some welding.

Essential Job Functions:

• Proficient in the facilities and maintenance technician duties and responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on production machines
• Perform mechanic functions including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs of production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Perform general facilities maintenance
• Ensures proper performance and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems within the building to ensure efficient operation
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Education / Experience:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong mechanical, pneumatic, fabrication, and industrial skills preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking skills, must work cooperatively within company
• Ability to operate forklift and other man lift equipment as needed is required
• Perform assigned duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry
• Must be results driven, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a wide range of software programs that support our business (MS Office Suite, CAD/ CAM Packages, ERP and CRM systems, etc.)
