This is a salary-based position working out of our Rockville, MD office. The Estimator will perform a variety of professional estimating duties related to developing estimates and procuring work for heavy highway construction projects.

Requirements:

• Experience bidding MDOT and VDOT highway and infrastructure projects in the Washington, DC metro area.
• 4-5 years of estimating experience.
• Excavation, water, sewer, drain, structures, asphalt paving, and HCSS Software experience a plus.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  

Job Duties:

• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
