We are looking for a skilled and compassionate massage therapist to join our team. As a massage therapist, you will provide a variety of massage techniques to help our clients relax and alleviate pain and tension. You will work closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and tailor your techniques to their preferences.
Responsibilities:
Provide various types of massage treatments including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, and sports massage, among others
Assess clients' conditions and medical histories to determine appropriate massage techniques
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, including pressure level and areas of focus
Maintain accurate client records and notes to track progress and improve future treatments
Keep a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing massage equipment and linens
Participate in training and continuing education to stay up-to-date on new techniques and industry trends
Requirements:
Valid state license to practice massage therapy
Knowledge of various massage techniques and their benefits
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and coworkers
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform massage treatments
Customer service-oriented with a strong commitment to providing excellent service to clients
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
