We are so excited to be opening our F45 "SoCo Lab," location. This F45 Location is a Headquarters operated studio based in Austin, Texas located on South Congress. The studio is located downstairs from the F45 Headquarters Office. Our F45 family is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and charismatic Head Trainer. F45 Trainers play a fundamental role within the team and company culture as they lead our classes, working closely with each individual member and providing the ultimate F45 experience. As an F45 Head Coach, you will manage the team of full-time and part-time trainers as well as run group training sessions, assess member fitness levels, build a community that keeps our members coming back every day and promote the F45 brand throughout our market area.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the F45 Athletics Staff and Athletic Operations of the F45 Studio
Manage the team of full-time and part-time trainers using the F45 Methodology
Promote an energetic environment and create a culture of family at F45
Inspire members to fully utilize all F45 resources to achieve personal fitness goals
Conduct in-person, goal-oriented consultations with all trial members
Focus on membership acquisition and retention, including conducting referral/lead generation activities
Setup the studio for specific functional training classes
Ensure the studio is impeccably maintained
Participate in the monthly F45 Athletics webinars
Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with the coach's team to go over new F45 phases
Ensure coaches are following opening and closing procedures
Conduct studio tours
Answering phone calls
Help with membership sales
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional experience teaching and/or managing in the fitness industry.
Bachelor’s degree in an Exercise Science-related field of study preferred.
Must hold a current fitness certification from an F45-approved education entity as followed; ACE (American Council on Exercise), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association)
Must hold current CPR/AED certification.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must demonstrate an intermediate understanding of the science of resistance-based training; neuromotor function.
Must invest 10+ hours per year in external professional development such as continuing education workshops and seminars.
