Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The Quality Assurance Inspector maintains quality standards by performing inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts, and components. Perform work to return to service the maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations performed under operations specifications. Local Candidates Only.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
Verifies specifications and inspects by using various inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools appropriate for the work being performed and approved for return to service.
Creates Corrective and Preventive Action Reports.
Coordinate with customers regarding any corrective action reports.
Coordinate with vendors regarding any corrective action reports.
Ensure vendor audits are current.
Complete FAA Form 8130-3 as required.
Inspect and test the system and components using various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the electronic part being inspected. Note discrepancies.
Accomplishes the quality and organization mission by completing results as needed.
Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical, and/ or electrical measurements.
Maintain all controlled document files accurately.
Other Duties as may be required.
Qualifications:
Prefer 3-5 years of hands-on experience within a Part 145 Repair Station or as a Quality Assurance Inspector in Manufacturing.
Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly organized and capable of prioritizing own workload
Excellent problem-solving abilities

Proficient in using the various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the article being inspected.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access)
Working conditions:
Repair Station, Production, and Warehouse environments.

Pay: $74,800.00 - $79,996.800 per year
