    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

    As a Fabricator / Countertop Installer, your primary duties will include:

    Operate and maintain fabrication equipment including press brake machines, stamping presses, welding equipment, and tooling setups to produce countertop components to exact specifications

    Perform precise cutting, shaping, edging, and finishing of countertop materials including stone, laminate, quartz, and solid surface products

    Prepare and set up work areas, tools, and materials at the start of each shift to ensure smooth, efficient production

    Read and interpret technical drawings, job orders, and measurement specifications to fabricate components accurately

    Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment to complete finishing work and quality assembly

    Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to verify that all products meet dimensional tolerances and quality control standards

    Transport finished countertop pieces safely and carefully, using proper material handling procedures to avoid damage

    Install countertops on-site with attention to detail, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and finishing for a professional look and long-lasting performance

    Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment as needed (certification preferred)

    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with facility safety policies and OSHA standards

    Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and installation crews to meet production schedules and client deadlines

    Report equipment malfunctions, material deficiencies, or quality issues to the supervisor in a timely manner

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

    Proven experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or a related trade environment — countertop or stone fabrication experience is a strong plus

    Hands-on knowledge of machining tools including press brake machines, stamping presses, welding equipment, and general tooling setup

    Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and finishing tasks

    Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a factory or warehouse setting; forklift operation certification is advantageous

    Solid basic math skills including measurements, fractions, and calculations essential for precise fabrication work

    Excellent attention to detail coupled with a strong commitment to quality control standards

    Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and other precision measurement tools

    Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a manufacturing environment

    Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality

    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

    High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational or trade school training is a plus
