    Job Description

    A Revenue Analyst is responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting and analysis to support the optimization of revenue and ensure the highest level of profitability for the hotel. This position completes all required rate loading, daily reservation scrubs and house balancing, as well as assists in the management of group reservation blocks. Will proactively assist the Director of Revenue and engage in the process of improving the hotel’s market share. This role is based on property at Mondrian LA with occasional travel for meetings and conferences required.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Assists with accurate preparation and analysis of all Revenue Management related reports. This includes market segmentation, production, source contribution, daily pick-up, and pace summaries
    • Ensure all internal (OPERA, PMS, RMS, CRS) and external (example OTA’s) systems are in synch
    • Conduct regular audits of the OTA’s content
    • Records all decisions from the weekly revenue management meetings, and handles follow up
    • Conducts daily reservation scrub to block rooms, balance room types, identify duplicate reservations and fraudulent booking activity, and account for special requests
    • Assist in all required rate loading and ensure all GDS information remains accurate and up to date
    • Maintain group pick-up reports and communicate with Sales regarding upcoming groups cut-offs
    • Enter group rooming lists and assist in setting up block billing
    • Assists in ensuring parity across all distribution channels (OTA’s, sbe.com, GDS, IDS and Call Center)
    • Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of the revenue management process
    • Attend mandatory meetings including divisional meetings, staff meetings, etc.
    • Utilize traditional software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Micros, ADP, Open Table and any departmental specific systems used
    • Complete other duties as assigned by the Ownership, Hotels or Corporate Offices
    • Complete all relevant tasks as assigned by the Revenue Director or hotel leadership team
    • Other duties as assigned

    Pay Range: $28.00 - $29.00

    EXPERIENCE:

    • At least 2-4 years of progressive experience in customer service in Guest Services or Reservations
    • Prior hospitality experience preferred with some management experience
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with ability to type 45 wpm.
    • Experience in Opera and Ideas is required.
    • Speaking other languages is preferred but not required.

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or hospitality or related field or equivalent of 4 years relevant work experience required.

    WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL WORK DEMANDS:

    • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
    • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
    • Able to lift and move up to 20 pounds occasionally.
    • Regular and on-time attendance is critical.
    • Hours occasionally exceed 40 hours per week.
    • Ability to stand during shifts
