Summer ’24 Internship

Our Internship Program offers promising talent – like YOU – an opportunity to start your Fairmont Orchid Hawaii career journey.

During a 6 to 12 week summer internship, you gain valuable experience in one of our entry-level positions in a following area/department: Housekeeping, Stewarding, Restaurants and Guest Services. Positions will be confirmed 30 days out from your arrival.

What you will be doing:

• Develop your hospitality and technical skills in luxury service and a variety of job roles
• Provide support to the day to day operations
• Obtain a good overview of the Hotel operations in Food & Beverage or Rooms.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage (Tagalog/Ilocano)
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
• Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
• Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance)
• Provide the necessary requirements to work in Guest Services (Valid Drivers’ License, Traffic Abstract, Property Vehicle Driver Agreement)
