Quality Control Laboratory Technician opportunity in the QC Lab supporting manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: • Preparation of Stock, Standard, and Quality Control Solutions. • Preparation of Samples for Instrumental Analysis. • Cleaning of Laboratory Glassware and Equipment. • Daily, Monthly, and other preventative maintenance of Equipment and Laboratory Instruments. • Calibration and operation of Laboratory Instruments. • Record keeping, documentation, and reporting of raw data. • Preparation of results from laboratory operations and analytical runs. • Assist with process improvement and quality projects. • Assist with research projects as designated. Qualifications: Qualifications/Aptitudes: • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biochemistry preferred. Other disciplines with a strong quantitative focus are considered. • Basic Statistics and Mathematics. • Dilutions, Concentrations, Beer’s Law, and Calibration Curves. • Separations Science. • Optical Spectroscopy. • Excel, Word, and Outlook. • HPLC, FT-IR, UV-VIS, Automated LAL-BET Instrument, and Analytical Balance. Physical and Special Requirements: • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. • Manipulation of pipettes, small laboratory instruments, and sample handling. • Occasional visit(s) to Controlled/Clean Room environment. • May need to lift, up to 40 pounds. • Limited exposure to potentially hazardous substances. • Use of process-appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) as required. Compensation: $21 hourly - Varies Based on Experience
