Asset Recovery Team Member:
Primary job duties include but are not limited to:
Maintaining databases
Labeling and updating paper files
Sorting files, digital or paper, into their proper locations
Gathering and organizing files and documents for coworkers’ use, such as for reports
Maintaining supply inventories
Calling for maintenance and repairs of various office equipment as needed
Answering phone calls and responding to e-mail regarding documentation organization
Photocopying, scanning, and sending faxes
Sorting, delivering, picking up, and sending mail
Maintaining office cleanliness
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computers, software, and databases
Accelerated typing speed and accuracy
Excellent attention to detail
Discipline and focus
Communication: Listening, writing, and speaking effectively.
Planning/Organizing/Prioritizing: Manages work scheme in detail and complete before the deadline.
Flexibility/Adaptability: Handles multiple assignments or tasks and adjusts workload to suit real-time conditions to meet deadlines.
Interpersonal abilities: Possesses the ability to work with internal and external clients. Strong interpersonal skills such as negotiating, problem-solving, and knowledge-sharing are required.
Problem-solving: The ability to control and deal with issues that arise by collecting information, analyzing situations, share solutions, and apply them to resolve the issue efficiently time.
Teamwork: Can collaborate with other team members to achieve goals.
The Recovery Specialist will:
Acquire working knowledge of the FDCPA and State Collection Laws while understanding the recovery management cycle with asset recovery and subrogation.
Update customer information such as phone numbers, e-mails, addresses, contact notes, etc.
Satisfactory preliminary criminal history background check. The ability to perform this job as well as all assigned duties successfully. Previous experience in third-party collections or related industry preferred but not required. Reasonable accommodations may be made, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This role may include high-volume correspondence to assigned customers in a fast-paced, goal-oriented recovery and subrogation department.
Education or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
