Primary job duties include but are not limited to:

• Negotiating account settlements within established guidelines
• Responding to inquiries in a timely and effective manner 
• Answering telephone calls regarding account inquiries and payment of claims

Asset Recovery Specialist Qualifications:

 Satisfactory preliminary criminal history background check. The ability to perform this job as well as all assigned duties successfully. Previous experience in third party collections and/or related industry preferred but not required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This includes high volume phone calls and/or correspondence to assigned customers in a fast-paced, goal-oriented recovery and subrogation department. The Recovery Specialist will 

• Acquire working knowledge of the FDCPA and State Collection Laws, while understanding the recovery management cycle in relation to asset recovery and subrogation.

• Update customer information such as phone numbers, e-mails, addresses, contact notes, etc.

Education and/or Experience:

The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically are acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
