Production & Installation Specialist (West Loop, Chicago)

We're looking for an energetic, well-organized candidate with great communication skills to join our fast-paced and fast-growing sign company in the West Loop of Chicago. A high sense of urgency and previous sign shop production experience is required. This candidate is responsible for all aspects of the physical production and installation of signs.

Responsibilities

· Have the ability to produce signs using details from Point-of-Sale system

· Place vinyl graphics on a predetermined substrate

· Prepare/clean substrates for vinyl application, cutting, engraving, lasering, painting and/or laminating

· Weed excess vinyl from plotter-generated graphics

· Have (or learn) the ability to output signs on router/engraver, laser & flatbed machines

· Have (or learn) the ability to paint substrates/signs

· Perform installations as required – Be efficient but more importantly, SAFE

· Serve as backup for graphic designer as necessary

· Help unload and store raw materials; clean and maintain storage areas

· Report low inventory levels and stock to production manager

· Work on multiple projects simultaneously

· Perform quality assurance measures pre and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order · Perform quality assurance measures for errors or unacceptable quality standards

· Communicate with other employees and customers in a calm and professional manner

· Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

· A valid driver’s license is required

Salary/Benefits Include:

$42,000-$52,000/yea plus Monthly Bonuses
