    Become involved in the exciting sign and graphics industry by joining the FASTSIGNS West Dallas team as a Customer Service Representative!

    This is a full time position with a regular schedule and weekends off! Hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with opportunities for overtime. Includes commissions, paid training, paid time off, paid holidays, and yearly raises.

    Under general direction, the CSR is responsible for customer service inside the store, as well as achieving new sales through telemarketing and marketing programs. Primary responsibilities include interfacing and problem-solving with clients, managing current accounts and prospecting for new customers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Serve as first point of contact for walk-in, email, e-commerce and telephone customers.

    Respond to customer inquiries, provide sign recommendations and quotes, and assist customers with order process.

    Process customer orders. Accurately complete work orders; obtain customers' approval and payment for sign orders.

    Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-construction by accurately creating, reading and communicating work order details and later proofing sign for errors or unacceptable standards.

    Contact customers when the order is ready, when delays or errors occur, or when payment is late, to ensure that they are satisfied after the job has been picked up/delivered, etc.

    Execute a variety of marketing functions: In-store database mailings based, thank you cards, prospect via phone for new customers, etc.

    Maintain an attractive retail environment (clean, organized and functional).

    Support store manager as needed with reports, close-out, invoices, and daily, weekly and monthly paperwork

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE

    Previous experience in sales and customer service

    Basic sales and telemarketing skills

    Correct English usage including spelling, grammar and punctuation; ability to proofread

    High School diploma or GED

    The ability to use simple math (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers and fractions, as well as converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)

    The ability to read and interpret a ruler and use a calculator

    Strong verbal and communication skills including listening, speaking, hearing and writing; consulting; being able to assess needs and offer possible solutions for consideration

    Experience with a POS system; using a keyboard for typing/data input; computer basics including the most recent Windows Operating System and Microsoft® Office Products
