We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our team. As a Sign Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of non-illuminated signs at various locations. Your primary goal will be to ensure that signs are installed accurately, securely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Install non-illuminated signs, including but not limited to, exterior building signs, interior signs, directional signs, and other non-illuminated signage.
Review work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate installation methods and materials required for each project.
Prepare installation sites by measuring, leveling, and marking the appropriate locations for sign placement.
Safely operate hand and power tools, ladders, and other equipment necessary for sign installation.
Ensure that signs are securely mounted and aligned according to specifications, using appropriate fasteners and installation techniques.
Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of installations.
Conduct quality checks to ensure that signs are installed accurately and meet the company's standards of quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the installation process.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of completed installations, including photographs, measurements, and any other relevant documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on the progress of installations and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in sign installation.
Strong knowledge of sign installation techniques, materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in order to overcome installation challenges.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, depending on the project requirements.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
