FASTSIGNS of Dublin is looking for a production Graphic Designer who possesses the maturity, passion, and energy to collaborate with others on the team. We seek a candidate with graphic design education or background with the ability to design something that excites and inspires but can also appreciate there is usually a need for simple, clean, yet eye-catching designs. As a Graphic Designer, your primary responsibility will be to create computer-generated full-color graphics for our customers. Your job will involve various levels of artistic creativity and you may interact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with the final product.
More specifically Graphics Designer RESPONSIBILITIES include
Prioritize each day to efficiently and cost-effectively schedule the workflow.
Read and interpret Work Orders, according to written instructions.
Provide proofs as necessary for customer approval or feedback.
Make design adjustments based on customer feedback.
Prepare comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction according to instructions of client, sales team or supervisor.
Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer. Ensure correct material is used for all jobs and output device settings are accurate.
Operate the plotter and assist with roll-to-roll vinyl printing.
Keep work area clean and organized
We offer full-time 8:30 am - 5 pm full-time employment with comprehensive benefits include medical and dental insurance and matching 401k. Occasional overtime rarely occurs, but is at times required. Must have strong expertise working in Adobe Illustrator and be able to coordinate priorities with other team members. Degree preferred but not required. Prior employment experience as a Graphics Designer (especially in signage) preferred.
