A Successful FASTSIGNS Production and Fabrication Specialist (and Graphic Design assistant) will:

Be willing to learn and jump in to production as needed to get projects across the finish line

Be able to be on their feet and moving most of the day

Assist our lead designer as needed to produce computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied

Operate digital printers, plotters and laminators as needed.

Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.

Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate

Be able to lift up to 50 pound rolls to load on printer uptake reels

Assist with maintaining customer logo library; convert graphic files and work within our Corebridge operating system

Assist with production and operation of printers and plotters

Collaborate and communicate with team members for best outcomes

Be friendly, smart, communicative, curious and confident and ready to help the team

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Production and Fabrication Specialist

High School diploma or equivalent

Some graphic design experience

Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator

Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously

Be a great team member committed to making the world a better place one sign at a time

Determine the best output method based on the customer’s needs

Sit and view a computer screen occasionally and work within our operating system

Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
