We are continually soliciting team member input on ways we can make our new space more than just an office; we want to make it something we're proud to show off!If this sounds like someplace you'd like to work, then take a look at the details for the Graphic Design and Production Specialist position and send us your resume!Duties include:- Reading digital work orders submitted by the Sales team and creating designs based off notes and files provided.- Creating signs and graphics from scratch with anything from limited creative direction to very detailed customer-provided notes.- Working with customer-provided files to prepare them for output.- Creating output files to use with the printers, plotters, and/or router.- Designing vehicle wraps using vehicle templates.- Editing photos in Photoshop.- Assisting the Production Manager with running the plotters and printers.- Alerting the Production Manager to future material needs by recording materials on a digital materials order sheet.- Sending proofs to clients for review.- Moving jobs through a digital workflow at the appropriate times to make sure projects progress in a timely manner.- Meeting with the Sales Team to discuss questions regarding design work.- Completing a list of design work each day. - Setting up permitting drawings and designs.- Setting up production files for sub contract vendors.- Assisting the Production Manager with sign and graphics preparation, production, and assembly.- Assisting with sign and graphics installs.- Helping to maintain the organization and the cleanliness of the Design and Production area.Experience:- At least 1 year of sign and graphics design experience required.- Must have at least 1 year of experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator.- Prior sign fabrication experience is a bonus!- Experience with designing for digital signage a bonus!What we're offering:- $17 to $21 per hour, depending on experience.- Health insurance.- 401k with matching.- Paid vacation and personal days.- Cash bonus for meeting goals as a team.- Full time.- Monday through Friday.FASTSIGNS is the franchise industry leader with over 700 locations in many countries worldwide.
