FASTSIGNS SURREY is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Graphic Designer who will work closely with Sales and Production teams and will be responsible for designing a wide array of signage and displays for customers.FASTSIGNS SURREY will train the right candidates in learning the exciting sign manufacturing industry.• Collaborate with sales and production teams to prepare concepts and design signage solutions for different projects. Utilize client specifications or creative approach to produce innovative signage.• Create, design, and conceptualize sample layouts based on requests from customers.• Determine dimensional arrangement of illustrative material and copy and select style and size for sign.• Prepare layouts with 3D views and dimensions for client’s review.• Review final layout and suggest improvements.• Prepare illustration and design of materials needed for estimating.• Provide documentation, detailed instruction, drawings and specification and notes for fabrication and installation requirements.• Participate in technical art review meeting to present draft of proposed sign prior to beginning production.• Explain design concept for clarification to production lead.• Take responsibility for juggling a hectic portfolio of art and design projects to meet tight client and manufacturing deadlines.• Work closely with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure designs are technically and esthetically accurate.• Maintain archive of images, photos or previous work for history and examples.• Research and keep up to date technically with new design software.• Support others in department with guidance including historical customer information and standards.Experience and Qualifications:• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer preferably using Adobe suite. 2 years in construction/sign industry preferred.• Solid Experience with graphic design programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and other design software• Precise proof-reading abilities with an eye for perfection• Knowledgeable about the effective use of topography, colour and visual space• Effective communications skills, with the ability to listen and persuade.• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment, multi- task and good time management skills.• Analytical thinking with very good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.• Takes initiative, strong work ethic, can execute, and gets things done.• Formal training in Commercial Art, Advertising, Graphic Design, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field• English language abilities, both written and verbal.Boulevard Signs dba FASTSIGNS SURREY will offer you:• Competitive salary and benefits• Rewarding and fast-paced projects• Opportunity for growth and career development• Secure long-term employment with opportunity for advancement• Extended Medical and Dental Benefit coverage after initial three months• Monthly revenue-based bonus program and quarterly performance-based bonus programWe appreciate the interest of all applicants, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Job Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience + revenue and performance bonus programsEEO StatementFASTSIGNS SURREY provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
