Some candidates found our correspondence filtered out tospam and did not see request for assessment or interview.What we offer:• Employer sponsored health and dental benefits• Paid holidays• Paid time off• Employer 401k match and profit share• BonusesOur ideal candidate is:• Methodical• A good communicator• Forward thinking• Detailed• Quick, yet accurateWhen you work at an independently owned and operated FASTSIGNS location, you are working for alocal business, typically with Monday through Friday business hours.Are you ready to bring your problem solving and supportive skills on board and join an establishedbrand?POSITION DESCRIPTIONUnder general direction, the Office Assistant assists the Center Manager/Owner in the administrationof daily center operations.RESPONSIBILITIES• Answer the phone and direct callers to the appropriate individual.• Copy and file documents, work orders, estimates, invoices, etc., as needed.• Assist the sales team as needed (i.e.: contacting clients when orders are ready for pickup,labeling and mailing marketing materials and follow-up letters when requested, deliveringorders when needed, making competitive “shopping” calls, etc.• Maintain center appearance by vacuuming, emptying trash cans, cleaning counters andwindows, straightening showroom, making sure we appear open (if we have an open sign toturn on and off), changing light box inserts, update in-center merchandising and keeping areaneat.• Assist accounting by printing and calling the aging report customers, printing and mailing oremailing statements, making bank runs if necessary and posting payments.• Assist the front counter CSR / ISC and / or Marketing Rep with in-house marketing duties(including direct mail labeling, telemarketing, etc.)• Manage and order office supplies; make sure departmental needs are met – postage, copierand printer inks and paper, etc.• Run errands as needed.• Maintain files for vendors, newsletters and various incoming mail.• Aid with order pick up, shipping and couriering schedules – pack and ship when appropriate.• Serve as production backup when necessary.• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.Participate in and practice FASTSIGNS sales mentality of “Everybody Sells”. Every prospect andclient touch point is an opportunity to serve their needs.TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS• Ability to sit for long periods at a time.• Ability to lift 25 or more pounds.• Flexibility to sit and stand multiple times a day.Ability to:• Work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.• Understand computer basics such as ability to learn a POS (Point of Sale) system, Word,Excel and use of keyboard and ten-key.• Ability to assess needs and aid in direction to correct sales team member as well as pre-enterprospects when routing calls.• Excellent communication skills and maintain professional and positive attitude.
