    The Paralegal position is a shared services position that supports all Propelled Brand companies as needed in the following areas:

    · Franchising/franchise compliance· Intellectual property· Preparation of franchise contracts· Legal Research

    The ideal candidate will be skilled in: comprehension of State relationship and disclosure laws; Disclosure Documents and Franchise Agreements; possess a basic understanding of Contract Law, intellectual property and maintenance of franchisee data and must exhibit the ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality.

    Essential Functions

    · Manage, organize and maintain franchise documents and general contracts in a contract management system

    · Extensive experience in reviewing general contracts and franchise documents

    · Preparation and management of contracts

    · Assists Sr. Director of Legal with the update and renewal of franchise disclosure documents

    · Manages filing processes as needed

    · Issues franchise and development agreements to franchise candidates

    · Prepare amendments to franchise agreements as needed

    · Legal Research

    · Maintenance of monthly reporting

    Required Education and Experience

    High School Diploma required and 3-5 years of general, contract and franchise law experience. Ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience in a corporate legal department. Paralegal certificate is desirable but not required with applicable experience.
