    The Director of Content and Communication is a shared services position that supports all Propelled Brand companies as needed.

    Internally, the position helps gain understanding and adoption of initiatives; externally, the role seeks to get our name out to drive brand awareness, improve SEO by having more optimized content, establish our thought leadership and expertise, and engage audiences by helping us tell our brand story online.

    This position will help determine and execute the communication strategy, including PR, social media, and internal communications, as well as manages the Content/Communications Team. This is a hands-on role.

    Key performance indicators include web traffic and engagement measurements, internal satisfaction surveys and franchisee feedback, subject matter understanding and relevance, production efficiency, strategy adherence, and team development and engagement.

    Essential Functions

    The right candidate will show the ability to:

    · Lead and execute content and corporate communications strategy.

    · Manage social media and brand PR vendor relationships.

    · Lead corporate communications/PR team to write, create and implement content across channels.

    · Craft press releases for the brand and for the CEO; review PR vendor press releases.

    · Ensure standardization of brand across all communication channels.

    · Write, oversee and/or edit various marketing communication publications.

    · Establish social media strategy and measure and analyze the success of social programs using web metrics, vendor metrics, and franchisee feedback.

    This position is directly responsible for leading and overseeing The Content and Communication Team which includes 3 direct reports.

    Required Education and Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, or related field is preferred, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, PR, journalism, and/or social media experience.
