That means that our Pre-Press Supervisor has to help us build this bridge - it's challenging and rewarding work! Real world, full-time graphic design and production design experience, as well as proven leadership experience is required. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES The essential responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following: * Determining and maintaining best practices within the Pre-Press team (supervisor). * Overseeing, motivating, supporting and providing guidance to Pre-Press team staff (supervisor). * Holding regular 1:1 meetings with Pre-Press team staff (supervisor). * Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting deliverables (supervisor). * Developing and maintaining a workflow policy to delegate assignments to Pre-Press team staff (coordinator). * Work with members of other departments to develop product builds and file preparation that satisfies the customer's needs (pre-press technician). * Identify work order errors and product build issues and advise adjustments to relevant team members (pre-press technician). * Set up print files for production. An average of 8-12 jobs/day (pre-press technician). The following qualities are a big plus, but not required: * Experience in or interaction with the signage industry * Direct experience working with production processes (proofing, prototyping, color matching, etc.). Knowledge of sign materials and substrates * Experience building templates, creating file structures, standardizing design practices, (Do you like Lean? Are you always pushing for better practices?) * Desire to mentor.
